The ZSK high-performance compounding system are equipped with melt pumps from our own production for these individual cases. We have come up with their design through our years of development work and have proven in practice numerous times.The melt pump has either a single or twin-shaft drive.A pair of gears with straight involute gear teeth runs in polymer-lubricated, hydrodynamic sliding bearings which have been protected from the outside by housing them closed off on both sides by covers and the threaded shaft seals operating without contact inside.
The exact process design which includes features such as the type of cooling and the size of the operating clearances, are calculated and determined project and product-specific by our experts.
