Europress COS series hydraulic lifting cylinder has a robust design. The rod end features concentric grooves resulting in a better load grip. Lifting eyes are included in models above 30 tonne. Every model has received anticorrosive nitride treatment, and thus can withstand difficult environments. Any overpressure is prevented by the safety valve connected to the return chamber. It allows operation with off-centred loads at up to 8% nominal capacity. A wiper fitted at the end of stroke nut ensures there is no ingress of dirt.
