Tandem cylinders have consistent velocities even with slow speed applications because the air cylinders are struggling inside by measuring the meter of oil flow. You can absorb shock loads and control it if one cylinder is filled. Single tank is made for reducing its cost, that's why it is designed for slower cycle rates but has maximum flexibility and speed if you combine any series of cylinders. Some designs are available for many applications. Overhung load applications are possible if minimum effects of gravity is applied. This device is a smooth pivot operated.
