These extruded conductive edge liners are the most cost-effective way to provide both ESD and physical protection for circuit boards and subassemblies. All static dissipative parts meet the static decay requirements of MIL-PRF-81705D and surface resistivity is less than 1x1012 ohms/square. The U-shaped steel clip-on tape with
a EPDM jacketing provide for firm
seating on metal edges, even if there
are radii or bends.
The profile is simply pressed onto
the metal edge by hand, so there
is no need for tools, adhesives or
connecting elements.
Edge protection profiles differ in
shape and size, depending on the
application.
