o Self-adjusting oil skimmer for industrial application (Tank, lake, river etc.)
o The upper rings of the skimmer take position at the interface and recover all flotable product. The EDS
400 skimmer is working in combination with an external vaccum pump which give you the flow rate of
the system. Flow rate depending of the viscosity of the hydrocarbon and the depth of the skimmer.
o Simple to install and to maintain, this skimmer is ideal for skimming a wide surface.
o Material are design to resist to a wide range of hydrocarbon ( HDPE, Stainless steel and Polyurethane)

The surface skimmer EDS 500 is new generation of skimmer which use 2 technologies :

- Oleophilic /hydrophobic membrane SILMEM for finition or selective recovery
Applications : Industrial waste water, harbor and Sea water recovery, Oil water separator for industrial process or remediation applications
HOW IT WORKS
A Double diaphragm, located below the Specific gravity skimmer, is recovering oil at the surface of the lake, basin or oil separator.
The skimmer is fully automatic and pneumatic, ATEX 0 pump is available too for confined area. The oil, located at 0.5 mm from the interface, is automatically recovered.
In order to increase the efficiency, it is possible to install at the top of the skimmer a short Silmem membrane (oleophilic /hydrophobic membrane) to get the higher efficiency.
The EDS 500 skimmer can run without any detection (full time) and it automatically follows the water fluctuation of the water.
It works mainly with LNAPLs and can be used with very high viscosity products.
PERFORMANCES
- 99.99 % of recovery guaranteed on the LNAPLs applications high or low viscosity
- Easy to install or maintain
- Can be installed in many kind of double diaphragm pneumatic pumps
- High flow ranges : from 5 to 10 m3/h
