The AZ Gas Insulated Surge (GIS) Arrester is specifically designed to protect Gas Insulated Surge Switchgears from multiple atmospheric and switching over-voltages. The AZs design can be used for the protection or preservation of transformers. It Is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. Some of its advantages include low to zero maintenance, resistance to ageing, long protection distance, and a very high level energy input capacity. This device also increases the dependability of the Gas Insulated Switchgears. It comes with some optional accessories or attachments like a discharge counter combined with leakage current indicators and a gas density monitor.
