The 4114B1 model manufactured by Dytran Instruments Inc. is a line-operated constant current power unit made to power IEPE sensors and in-line charge amplifiers. This product gives 2 to 20 mA of constant current at +24 VDC compliance voltage. It is a 4-channel unit equipped with four BNC sensor jacks and four BNC output jacks. The rear panel of the unit is mounted with electrical connectors. The Dytran model 4114B1 have an integrated and highly regulated +24 VDC power supply with adjustable constant current circuits. The constant current circuits are made of clamped-base PNP transistors with variable emitter resistor to adjust the current. Users can change the current output of the circuits with the limits set from 2 to 20mA. The rear-panel sensor jacks supplies to the sensors its constant current. This product is available in a stand-alone desktop unit or it can be rack mounted in an 19-inch wide by 5.25-inch high rack adaptor.

Absopulse Electronics’ FTT 3K Series is a rugged, modular AC/AC frequency converter system. It uses microprocessor controlled, high frequency PWM technology to deliver 3-Phase, 3000VA continuous sine-wave output power, from a 3-phase input.

The standard design delivers three-phase outputs of 208V, 380V or 400V (L-L) at 50Hz, 60Hz or 400Hz. The output neutrals are internally connected to the chassis in “Y” configuration, which allows for phase-to-neutral voltages of 115V, 220V or 230V. The FTT 3K operates from a 3-phase line voltage of 208Vrms, 380Vrms or 400Vrms (L-L). Other voltages, frequencies and options can be provided on request.

The FTT 3K is comprised of a number of internal modules. The mechanical size of the system depends on the input/output combination – it varies from a 3U x 19” rack to a 6U x 19”. Chassis-mount versions are available. Cooling is by built-in fans.

Full electronic protection eliminates the possibility of failure due to abnormal operating conditions, including application errors. The high frequency conversion enables a compact construction, low weight and high efficiency. These factors, as well as the exclusive use of components with established reliability, make the system suitable for critical applications. Filtering meets EN 55022 Class A, (Class B optional). Other options: remote shutdown or enable, output fail alarm (Form C), ruggedizing and conformal coating.

The FC 2KP-EW/A Series modular ac-ac frequency converter system was designed to deliver a clean sine-wave output from ″dirty″ generator voltage under extreme environmental conditions.

This 2kVA system converts a wide range varying generator voltage of 180V-170Vac (frequency range 35 - 70Hz), to a stable 120Vac (60Hz), required to run control circuitry & instrumentation in earthmoving equipment. This design can be adapted to similar requirements for other heavy equipment vehicles used in mining, excavation and oil exploration environments.

The FC 2KP-EW/A employs field-proven, microprocessor controlled high frequency PWM technology, which enables compact construction and high efficiency. It is comprised of an AC-DC sub-system and a DC-AC sub-system, each housed in a separate low-profile, mechanically robust enclosure and mounted on a 508 x 69 x 914 mm base-plate. Conduction cooling is by base-plate attached to a heat-sinking surface.

To ensure immunity to the high levels of shock and vibration, the internal modules in both sub-systems are potted with thermally conductive MIL-grade silicon rubber compound. This also provides protection from high temperature, moisture and airborne contaminants.

Electronic protection features include 2250Vdc input to chassis/output isolation, over-voltage, short circuit protection with thermal shutdown and self-resetting, filtering to EN55022 Class A conducted and radiated.
