FiberStar Laser Marking Sources are specially built to offer direct metal marking, non-contact, abrasion-resistant, permanent laser marking onto almost any type of material. FiberStar laser marking system are designed with high-speed, high precision, micro-marking, engraving and cutting making them ideal for a wide range of industries and integration applications. The systems offer state-of-the-art technology with their highest laser beam quality and more than 50,000 hours of maintenance-free operation.

The high precision laser markings are available in almost any type of material including gold, platinum, silver, brass, stainless steel, carbide, copper, titanium, aluminum and wide range of medical-grade alloys and plastics. The laser markers are capable of producing identification text, serial numbers, corporate logos, 2-D data matrix, bar coding, graphic and digital images, or any individual process data. Picosecond Ti:sapphire Laser of the Tiger PS series is suitable for use in photocathode illumination, seeding amplifiers, pump-probe experiments, opto-electronic testing, electro-optic sampling and nonlinear optics.

This device requires little maintenance and has a DPSSL passive lock mode for security. It is incorporated with a pump laser and engages the operations using a turn-key. The pulsewidth of this unit ranges from 3 ps - 100 ps that is produced with 1 W of average power at 80 MHz. Its wave length can be adjusted from 730 nm - 880 nm and the repetition rate can also set at 225 MHz - 500 MHz.
