Software / concentration determination - AvaSoft-CHEM
Avantes The AvaSoft-CHEM module by Avantes supports a good and high quality performance which allows an online concentration determination with a spectroscopy system.

The Lambert-Beers law states there is a linear relationship between absorbance and concentration, A (absorbance) = e (extinction) * c (concentration) * l (optical path length). In the actual use of the given law, the relation is only linear at absorbance levels that are less than 2 Au. There is a need for several samples with known concentration specifically to measure the absorbance. It is also critical to always measure it at the same or exact wavelength.

To achieve a better chemometric model, it is highly recommended to use numerous samples of several concentrations. The AvaSoft-CHEM also uses absorbance values mainly to create a linear calibration line, which is then used to measure the concentration of unknown samples.
