Pulse widths as short as 50 ps (FWHM)
Adjustable (average) power up to 20 mW
Repetition rate from single shot to 80 MHz
Optional dual mode: pulsed and CW operation
Collimating optics, optional fiber coupling and peltier cooling

The laser heads of the LDH Series are the ideal product for all applications that require picosecond pulses at a variable repetition rate. They are build around a variety of different diode types, which allows to offer these heads at many wavelengths with different power values and spectral widths. Typically diode types like Fabry-Perot (FP), Distributed Feedback (DFB) or Distributed Bragg Reflector (DBR) are used. Each laser head contains additional special control electronics that are matched to the individual diode. The laser heads come with collimating optics and can be fitted with optical fibres (multi mode, single mode or polarisation maintaining single mode).

Diode laser head / pulsed / picosecond - 80 ps, 266 - 1532 nm | LDH-FA Series

Available at 266, 531, 766, 1064 and 1532 nm
Pulse width down to 80 ps (FWHM)
Average output power between 1 mW and 1000 mW (depending on wavelength)
Repetition rates up to 80 MHz
Collimated beam or PM fiber output with FC/APC fiber connector

The picosecond pulsed laser diode heads of the LDH-FA Series are based on a Master Oscillator Fiber Amplifier (MOFA) concept with optional frequency conversion. The master oscillator generates infrared picosecond pulses with variable repetition rates up to 80 MHz using the proven gain-switching techniques from PicoQuant. The output of this seed laser is directly connected to a single or double stage fiber amplifier, which boosts the output from the seed laser by several dB while maintaining the other characteristics of the seed laser beam like the emission wavelength, polarization and the short pulse width.

Picosecond laser - PowerLine SL

The PowerLine SL lasers were developed for processes that make high demands on beam quality and the pulse-to-pulse stability with high frequencies. The compact laser head houses the pump diode and the RF generator. This facilitates integration and allows great distances between the place of operation and supply unit. The supply module of the laser requires 3 rack units in a 19 industrial rack mount. The laser system has an integrated shutter and a safety circuit according to EN-954-1 / EN 13849-1 which also facilitates direct integration.

Picosecond laser - PowerLine SL PV

The PowerLine SL PV lasers were developed for photovoltaic applications with highest requirements on the beam quality and pulse-to-pulse stability with high frequencies. With the integration of the beam expansion in the laser head, the laser beam can be used directly without external beam shaping. High long term stability is guaranteed by the new temperature management systems: independent thermal monitoring, stabilization of all relevant optical components and heat dissipation via cooling plate.
