The X20cDI4371 Control System is fitted with a total of four digital inputs in addition to a sink connection. The FAN6754 PWM controller is highly-integrated. It provides numerous features to increase the performance of flyback converters. A proprietary green-mode function helps reduce standby power consumption by providing off-time modulation to decrease the switching frequency under conditions involving light-loads. The FAN 6754 saves PWM pulses under conditions where this is little to no load by entering into deep bust mode. The deep bust mode function allows the power supply to meet the requirements of international power conversion.

FAN6754 also integrates a frequency-hopping function internally to decrease EMI power supply emissions with a minimum line filter. Integrated synchronized compensation (slope) is accomplished by a proprietary HV monitor to adjust the V Limit for continuous output power over the input range of universal AC. Other protection functions include VDD over-voltage protection and AC-input brownout protection with hysteresis.
