The MLG-2 is a series of measuring automation light grids from Sick which has high resolution light grids with varying beam separation of 2.5 mm, 5 mm, 10 mm, 25 mm, and 50. It is capable of measuring field lengths that ranges from 150 mm to 3200 mm.
The MLG-2 performs several functions such as the high-speed scan that triples the average scanning speed and the transparent mode that is used for detection of transparent materials. Furthermore, it utilizes an array of usable interfaces like IO-Link, analog, and push-pull outputs.
