The A124 miniature measuring cell has been developed to satisfy the increasing demand for a compact and easy to use measuring component. Thanks to its small dimensions A124 can be applied in simple as well as multidimensional measuring applications. Compact dimensions, ease of use and universal applicability make TESTAR A124 the first choice for gauging designers.

APPLICATION ADVANTAGES

The 7 x 7 x 31 mm compact dimensions allow solving measuring tasks for limited space applications in place of pencil probes and transmission devices.

Despite these small dimensions A124 is provided with a replaceable contact, a feature normally available only in larger measuring devices. Therefore contact replacement would no longer require disassembly of the complete measuring cell resulting in time and cost savings. This design allows also use of different types of contacts depending on the application requirement without the need for a special cell configuration.

For more comfortable electronic integration of inductive displacement sensors the MDCT series is realized. The mechanical detection of linear movement is done by a front guided push rod with accurate sleeve bearing and inside spring return device. The inductive measurement principle of the MDCT is configured with a casted spool in LVDT winding and a transformation core mounted on the push rod. In addition to the coil the electronic amplifier is placed in the sensor housing. The integrated electronic converts the position feedback signal of the core between the LVDT coils into the typical form of 0..10 V or 4..20 mA. Due to the contactless measurement principle long lifetime can be reached and permits high dynamic application, especially if small oscillating movement has to be detected. The inductive measurement delivers absolute values, is true power on and has high resolution also for movement in micro step. The robust construction of the inductive MDCT with IP65 sealing permits the use also in heavy duty applications.

In the displacement sensor series EVT the mechanical detection of linear movement is done by a front guided push rod with accurate sleeve bearing and inside spring return device. The inductive measurement principle of the EVT is configured with a casted spool in LVDT winding and a transformation core mounted on the push rod. With an external electronic amplifier, our IMA2 LVDT, the position feedback signal of the core between the LVDT coils is transformed into the typical form of 010V or 420mA. Due to the contactless measurement principle long lifetime can be reached and permits high dynamic application, especially if small oscillating movement has to be detected. The inductive measurement delivers absolute values and is true power on. Because of his good linearity in view of small measurement strokes and high resolution also for movement in micro step the EVT sensor provides high accuracy. The stainless steel construction is realized in small housing dimenson with only 10mm diameter and provides IP65 sealing protection. This combination of mini design, robust IP65 construction and high accuracy gives the inductive EVT series a high performance for linear motion measurement from 2 to 25mm with space saving integration even in heavy duty conditions. On request our pressure resistant and submersible EVT-W version with strong cable exit is available in measurement strokes from 2 to 25mm.
