Contrast detector

The Di-soric optical contrast diffuse sensors are made from reliable detection of print marks on different carriers including labels, foils, banderoles, cardboards and tubes. A rate of 4% difference or more can be reliably detected at a distance of 30mm with the use of this device in a span of 0.2 milliseconds. These devices are suitable to work in a fast-moving processes. They have a start-up tool that is user-friendly and can work by using the teach key or the remote-teach function. These also contain sensors which produce white lights and are characterized by a hardened and a high-protection class casing. Other specifications include high resolution level and a robust-metal casing which can work during a running process.

Contrast detector - 20 - 300 mm, 14.8 mm, 50 °C | OZDK 14 series

Baumer diffuse contrast sensors with pulsed red laser diode light source can handle a sensing distance of Tw 20-300 mm. The optimum operating distance is 40-60 mm and the repeat accuracy is <0,2 mm at laser focus.

The alignment/soiled lens indicator is a flashing light indicator. It uses a green LED for power on indication and LED yellow for light indication. The sensitivity can be adjusted using the Teach-in method. It uses a class 2 laser. The distance to focus is 115 mm and wave length is 650 nm.

In terms of electrical data, the response time/release time is < 0,15 ms, and voltage supply range +Vs is 10-30 VDC. The maximum current consumption without load is 35 mA, and the typical current consumption is 25 mA. The voltage drop Vd is < 2,2 VDC.

The sensors use light operate output function, and the output current is < 100 mA. It provides protection from short circuit and reverse polarity.
