The versatile Konica Minolta CM-5 bench-top spectrophotometer can measure the color of samples that are liquid, pasty granular and solid in transmittance or reflectance. The top port provides a number of aperture sizes, and it provides measurement of most types of samples.
The CM-5 is a good choice for a well-rounded lab instrument for plastics, pharmaceutical, chemical, food, fragrance and flavor applications. The larger color screen and superior firmware allow the CM-5 to work as a standalone, providing major colormetric systems that include specific industry indexes to measure liquids that are transparent such as US Pharmacopoeia, Gardener, Iodine, etc. When it is combined with the SpectraMagic NX (optional) Haze, a number of other indices are offered.
Features such as Operation wizard, auto calibration and seven languages make this extremely intuitive to work with.
