The paraffin section mounting bath is designed to help with paraffin wax sample handling in pathology and histology laboratories. The design of the MH8516 bath includes a powder-coated white aluminum exterior and PTFE black interior. A white and amber neon light indicates Power On and Heater On respectively. With this tub, hot distilled water is able to float out, and paraffin wax sections are meticulously manipulated and loaded onto glass slides. In the event that any sections are damaged or that there is an excess of wax, such problems can easily be taken care of by skimming a filter paper across the surface of the water. Water temperature accuracy is maintained through an energy regulator, from which power is supplied to a silicone rubber mat in timed pulses. A thermal fuse built within the heater mat prevents over-heating. The MH8516 bath is easy to clean and maintain.
