Multiplexer - MX8400
The Ericsson MX8400 System Multiplexer is part of the iSIS 8000 solution. It is suitable for IP distribution infrastructures. Its strong build makes it suitable for critical applications. The MX8400 is also suitable for various remultiplexing and multiplexing applications. The range of use includes multiplexing in headends for DTH satellites, contribution and distribution systems, and applications dealing with terrestrial and cable central headends. This innovative device can support up to eight independent multiplex output transport streams, to allow for flexible design and expansion as desired. It can be used with the Reflex™ Statistical Multiplexing System for high-demand stream processing at the core of any MPEG-2 or similar applications.
