The Pepperl+Fuchs K-System HART Multiplexer is a master as well as a slave system. Additional slaves can be connected to the master up to 15 and support another 16 channels. As a complete system, it can drive up to 256 HART field devices, allowing 7936 field devices to be addressed simultaneously through one RS485 with 31 K-System HART Multiplexers.
