Endress+Hauser Prosonic S FDU92 ultrasonic sensors are suitable for non-contact measurement of continuous level and flow. It is used for connecting to transmitter FMU90/FMU95.FDU92 can be set up with ease and requires minimal servicing. A self-cleaning feature reduces formation of build-up.
It features automatic sensor detection for FMU90/FMU95 sensors. The sensor allows installation up to a 300m distance from the transmitter. Time-of-flight is corrected by built-in temperature sensor.
FDU92 is IP68 rated for weather and flood resistance. Due to the transmitter-independent installation, the sensors can weather challenging conditions. The sensors can measure precisely, even with temperature fluctuations. High resistance to chemical is provided by the PVDF sensor with hermetic welding.
It is available with ATEX, FM, CSA, TIIS, Dust-Ex and Gas-Ex approvals.
