The measuring principle of this device is a fairly simple one, with the level height being derived from the time required by the ultrasonic pulses to travel from the sensor to the medium surface and back. The measurement result is not influenced by the physical and chemical properties of the medium in any way. Because of this, the product can be used to measure abrasive, adhesive and even viscous media without any issues.When users install the sensor they will need to consider the typical block distance. In addition to this, the changed angle and the rough liquid surfaces influence the ultrasonic pulses reflection and may also influence the measurement.
