The unit is made of material transparent polyamide based (PA-T) technopolymer and NBR synthetic rubber flat packing ring. The device offers resistance to solvents, oils with additives, greases, acids and alkali. It is recommended to avoid contact of device with alcohol or detergents containing alcohol. HCFE-EX series level indicators comply with Health and Safety Requirements, intended in 94/9/EC ATEX European Directive (explosive atmospheres) for equipment in Group II, category 2GD.
The level indicators with kX protection degree offer easy mounting on equipments that are protected through immersion in liquid, without compromising on protection degree. HCFE-EX level indicators is marked with II 2 G D k which represents identification as per ATEX directive. II indicates group of suitable substances for the product. 2 indicates identification of the category. G represents identification of the type of explosive atmosphere (Gases or vapours). D represents identification of the type of explosive atmosphere (Dust). K represents protection degree by means of immersion in liquid.

This device is composed of Transparent polyamide based (PA-T) technopolymer which makes it highly resistant to shocks, solvents, oils with additives, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, petrol, naphtha, phosphoric esters. The customers are advised to Avoid contact with alcohol or detergents containing alcohol. All the screws, nuts and washers of this device are made of Zinc-plated steel which enhance its durability. The packing ring is composed of NBR synthetic rubber O-Ring. The contrast screen is made up of White lacquered aluminium. The device is equipped with adequate housing which avoids the yellowing effect due to the prolonged action of the fluid at high temperatures and thereby enhances its efficiency. The customer can easily fit marks and words before installation. The standard execution with and without thermometer are HCX and HCX/T respectively. You can easily assemble it with the supplied set screws and nuts. If your unit doesn't include nuts, you can still easily install it by tapping the two holes in the reservoir walls, if they are thick enough.
