This miniature submersible level transmitter impresses with various aspects, such as the small diameter size, which is only 0.63". In addition to this, the level monitoring and suitability for borehole applications are also unique selling points of this device. The item has been constructed after years of trouble-free service and comes with a welded 316 SS body, along with a 316 SS nose cap.

The top of the body is also 316 SS and prevents any damage when pulling the unit out of the installation. In terms of lightning and surge protection, a system was included by the manufacturer to cover this aspect. Finally, the choice of ETFE cable materials and polyether polyurethane are all vented for barometric pressure compensation.

A plate capacitor having dual high resistance ceramic plates accomplishes the ceramic capacitive pressure measurement in complete isolation from other parameters. The change in the capacity is determined by the level and the extent of a pressure change. The level of measurement can be implemented for filling heights in the range of 0.5 m to 16 mWC.

This PTFE version is suitable for applications where sturdy and aggressive stainless size steel is involved. In context of the temperature oriented density, the temperature of fluid can be recorded via an integrated Pt 100 measurement.
