Thermal flow sensor / for liquids - 15 - 200 l/min, IP67 | SBY series
The rugged IFM mechatronic flow sensor has a spring-supported piston that is found in the valve seat in the housing. The flowing medium lifts the housing against the spring resistance. An inductive sensor detects the position of the piston and is put out as a binary signal. With a 25 bar pressure range, the spring resistance ensures the piston reset is reliable to the original position with lessening flow.It is capable of volumetric flow quantities of 15l/min, 25l/min, 50l/min, 100l/min and 200l/min, with a rapid response time ≤ 10ms. Switch points can be preset using a set screw. The unit is maintenance-free and is designed for use in the harshest environments.
