Thermal flow sensor / for liquids - 15 - 200 l/min, IP67 | SBY series

The rugged IFM mechatronic flow sensor has a spring-supported piston that is found in the valve seat in the housing. The flowing medium lifts the housing against the spring resistance. An inductive sensor detects the position of the piston and is put out as a binary signal. With a 25 bar pressure range, the spring resistance ensures the piston reset is reliable to the original position with lessening flow.

It is capable of volumetric flow quantities of 15l/min, 25l/min, 50l/min, 100l/min and 200l/min, with a rapid response time ≤ 10ms. Switch points can be preset using a set screw. The unit is maintenance-free and is designed for use in the harshest environments.

Thermal flow sensor / for cooling systems - 25 - 75 l/min, IP67 | SBU series

Mechatronic flow sensor works to the principle of spring-supported piston. The piston is located in the valve seat in the housing. The piston is lifted by the flowing medium against the spring resistance during which piston position is detected by binary way via an inductive sensor or in an analogue way via a sensor with GMR cell. Flow ranges at 25 l/min, 50 l/min, 75 l/min and pressure ranges up to 200 bar. With decreasing flow, the piston is reliably reset to its initial position through spring resistance.

Setting screw enables to individually set and fix the switch points and can also be can be (pre)set continuously. The fast, mechatronic flow sensor works on binary or analogue signal output with a response time of ? 10 ms. The robust mechanical design makes it maintenance free and supports application in high pressures and harsh environments.

Online flow sensor / mini - 0 - 5 V | FLR1000 series

The FLR1000 Series flow sensors are capable of quantifying low flow rates starting from 20 mL/min to 500 L/min. This makes these sensors ideal for a broad spectrum of applications like of commercial, laboratory and industrial implementations. The lessened cost of the FLR1000 Series units are exchangeable by traditional and conventional glass tubes and ball flow meters.

The series uses a Pelton-Type turbine wheel which identifies the rate of flow which is present in the gas. The rate of rotation of the turbine wheel is linear over a wide dynamic range. The electro-optical system comes with a diode producing energy from an infrared spectrum. Spokes which are kept on the small turbine wheel mirror and assimilate light energy. Reflected light energy is then picked up by a photodiode.

Air flow sensor / mass / thermal / thin-film

The Honeywell product line of airflow sensors operate on heat transfer - flow and differential pressure, and come in a variety of port styles for flexible application and use. The airflow sensors feature state of the art manufacturing and microstructure technology -- advanced silicon chip design, with its thin-film material and thermally isolated bridge structure. Heat and temperature sensors allow for quick, enhanced response time to air and gas flow, amount, and direction, therefore minimizing power consumption while delivering significant voltage output. Amplified versions of the products provide an enhanced output signal and less external circuitry, while unamplified versions allow option for additional external circuitry.

Air flow sensor / differential pressure / digital - Zephyr™

Honeywell Zephyr™ is a new series of digital airflow sensors, delivering enhanced functionality, in order to meet the performance needs of various applications. These items are highly accurate and allow for precise airflow measurements, being suitable for demanding applications, particularly those for in which high accuracy is an absolute requirement.

The devices are perfect for measuring the mass flow of non-corrosive gases, while the digital interface included in the system improves the readability of the measurements. Next, the heater is thermally isolated, while the manufacturer has included temperature sensing elements to provide a faster response to the flow of gas of air.
