GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Level switches, based on the conductivity principle, can be applied to liquids with conductivity higher than 10 μS/cm. For detecting the level, probes are immersed into the tank. These probes (and the tank wall if conductive) serve as contacts of an electric circuit. Probes can be of single or multiple rod versions. When the liquid level reaches the probe, it will create a short-circuit and the output relay will be activated. The device senses the conductivity difference between the probes and the reference probe.

The DRS-303 is manufactured by Simex. It is a liquid sensor type, that is especially designed for conducted liquid presence detection. T parameters of the detector are constant to allow detection of actual presence of liquid on its electrodes and to be resistant for low impedance conducted surfaces, like wet fingers.

The conductive level probes offered by Sitron are designed for conductive liquid level control in reservoirs, tanks, wells, etc. Every model features a compact design that makes them easy to install. Since they have no moving parts, the probes are low maintenance and are known for their extreme reliability. They can be configured to meet specific requirements for applications. 316 stainless steel is used in the construction of all models, which can be encapsulated or coated in PTFE or similar materials. Both of the CN and EL series are avaialbl ein pendular or electrodes or fixed rods, coupled through cables inside of the housing. Various types of connections, including sanitary, flange, or threaded, are available for these probes.

The CN2RF Series is a range of conductive level switches from Sitron. The series is engineered to regulate the level of all conductive medium with up to two different points of level control. It has built-in electronics that deliver adjustable sensitivity and time delay adjustment. The switches of the CN series can be operated easily due to mounting of the electronic relay within the housing, thus making the remote controller unnecessary.
The CN2RF Series is delivered with solid rods, removable rods, and pendular electrodes that are made from stainless steel 316. They can operate in all conductive media. Furthermore, the Epoxy or Halar coatings are optionally available to use with aggressive medium.

With up to eight different points of level control, all of the conductive media use the EL Series Conductive level probes designed for this type of control. Accommodating most process requirements, Sittron offers a variety of model configurations. In a variety of level applications, the probes are just right for any that require multiple or one point of detection. With fixed or removable rods, the models are available. Housed in a polyurethane enclosure, the pendular electrodes are comprised of stainless steel. For a maximum pressure of 20 bar and for temperatures that range from -10 degrees Celsius to 150 degrees Celsius the rods might be Halar coated to accommodate the high temperatures or other sticky mediums for applications with aggressive media.
