The DG645 digital delay/pulse generator is a highly flexible design capable of providing accurate pulses at rates up to 10 MHz. Compared to it's predecessors the DG645 features a much lower jitter, higher accuracy, faster trigger rates, more outputs and is capable of remote control via Ethernet, GPIB and RS-232 communication interfaces.

Typical operation of digital delay generators that includes measuring time intervals by counting fast clock cycles, can lead to errors due to a timing indeterminacy. The DG645 reduces timing indeterminacy to zero by measuring the timing of triggers according to the internal clock and making up for analog delays, resulting in a 100x reduction of jitter.

The DG535 Digital Delay and Pulse Generator from SRS offers four four delay output channels and two independent pulse output channels. The logic transitions of delay output channels can be delayed from an internal or external trigger by up to 1,000 seconds in 5ps increments.

The amplitude of the rear-panel outputs is approximately eight times the corresponding front-panel output, and the outputs are designed to drive 50Ω impedance loads, which does not affect the function or the timing of the front-panel outputs. TTL, NIM and ECL levels can all be selected with a single key press, which makes the unit highly user-friendly.
