The 8845A/8846A models feature 6.5 digit resolution with a dual display and delivers an accuracy level of of up to 0.0024 %. The current range is 00 μA to 10 A with a max 100 pA resolution and the Wide ohms range from 10 Ω to 1 GΩ with a max of 10 μΩ resolution. It uses the 4 wire 2 x4 ohms technique and both models are able to measure period as well as frequency. The 8846A is also able to measure temperature and capacitance.
These devices are fitted with a USB drive port (8846A) and boasts Agilent 34401A and Fluke 45 emulation. Additionally, they are equipped with a graphical display and appointed with Trendplot™ statistics, histogram and paperless recorder mode and comply with CAT II 600 V and CAT I 1000 V.
