The CO2 sensor module was designed specifically for usage in large volume production as well as OEM applications. The CO2 sensor is used based on Infrared technology (NDIR). Unit does not require maintenance as it is based on the patented E+E auto-calibration process.The auto-calibration also compensates for the effect of aging on the CO2 sensor, providing superior long term stability.
With the digital interface of the CO2 sensor module and the minimal-sized design, it allows for simple incorporation in devices examples include the use in data loggers or demand controlled ventilation. The EE891 comes from the latest generation of CO2 sensors measurements cells which has an impressive design. With reduced power consumption the EE891 CO2 sensor module is extremely unique. The adjustable measurement interval allows for power consumption to be reduced to less than 60μA making it the best solution for devices that are powered by battery.
