The Shimadzus Comprehensive GC-MS (GCxGC-MS) system is perfect for a variety of applications, such as analysis of complex matrices, including natural products that are hard to analyze by the conventional method of GV or GC-MS. The group analysis is based on the dual dimensional chromatography patterns. The top examples of its application are food, flavor, fragrance, environment and petrochemical, etc. Now the question arises about GCxGC, it is a chromatography that requires two orthogonal GC columns linked in the series with the help of modulator.
