The APMA-370 is a device for continuously monitoring CO concentrations using a Non-dispersion cross modulation infrared analysis method. The APMA-370 employs an independent, internal dry-method sampling device to achieve the highest levels of sensitivity and accuracy. The dry method, due to its capability for continuously monitoring and instantaneously analyzing of gas in its unaltered state as well as its minimal maintenance requirements, has been a preferred method for monitoring the atmospheric pollution.

Using a Gas Filter Correlation Wheel, a high energy IR source alternately passes through a CO filled chamber and a chamber with no CO present. The light path then travels
through the sample cell, which has a folded measurement path of 14 meters. The energy loss through the sample cell is compared with the zero reference provided by the gas filter to produce a signal proportional to concentration.

The CAI Mobile Source Emissions Cart has been designed to provide a compact, self-contained emissions system.

The complete system is contained in a single bay, roll around cabinet that may be moved to various test sites as required.

This system will allow direct measurement of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, oxygen, total hydrocarbons and oxides of nitrogen using proven research grade gas analyzers. All analyzers are Federal Register compliant , ETL and CSA approved and meet U. S. EPA 40 CFR Part 1065 regulations.
