The Liebert AC4 and AC8 autochangeover controllers offer consistent data center oversight when used in systems with redundant data equipment like environmental units or pumps. A standby device is enabled once an alarm is detected in the operating device. Once the standby unit is enabled the alarm either becomes disabled or as otherwise programmed. These controllers provide oversight of monitors and auxiliary environmental units for appropriate operation and switching to auxiliary units in the even of a problem. These units also balance the operating time of the data center cooling systems to protect the components and promote extended equipment lifespans. The AC4 unit is equipped with an LCD display and terminal interface that is powered by a 24 VAC, while the AC8 controls eight devices. The AC8 offers Liebert SiteScan web compatibility and a modem interface powered by 120 VAC.
