It also has an improved torque capacity that comes with a three-gear lockup (2nd, 3rd, 4th). As a result of a faster engine and enhanced torque, this machine has a better maximum speed and faster acceleration. To deliver constant air flow, Komatsu Variable Geometry Turbocharger (KVGT) employs a hydraulic actuator. Aside from that, 90% of particulate matter is filtered by Komatsu Diesel Particulate Filter (KDPF) while allowing automatic regeneration without interfering with other tasks. It has an improved cooling capability using a fan that automatically reverses, and wider core coolers.
