A great part of the setup is that it works in many spaces and units. The vehicle-mounted design works with many outside keyboards and can even use a software keyboard that has 25 layouts in eight languages. It works with a Windows CE 6.0 operating system and X Scale processor.

Seamless integration with the broadest suite of data collection is made possible with this product. Integration with Intermec scanners and images, as well as printers, voice technology, device management, RFID, etc., is also provided. Medallion support and services offers a comprehensive and advanced warehouse solution. The CV41 comes ready to work with Intermec's Vocollect Voice Catalyst with the pre-licensed client pack as well as an integrated optimized keyboard. The keyboard and touchscreen are user-replaceable. Fleet management applications support is provided with an integrated CAN-BUS. The construction is rugged, and includes IP66 sealing. The WVGA LED backlit display is 8-inches with a resolution of 800x480.
