K470 has a lid featuring a hinge strip made of stainless steel, two lid straps with foamed seal all over. The stacking corners are made from cast aluminium, and its fully-welded, 3 aluminum profile frames provide the maximum stability to this container. It also has fully-welded profile-section joints.
The C.fasteners of K470 are easy to use and last long for minimum 20,000 operating cycles. A padlock with maximum shackle thickness of 6 mm, a plug lock or lead seals to prevent from breaking open - can be used for setting the snap fasteners.
K470 features Zarges comfort ergonomic-friendly, robust sprung-loaded drop handles. These can handle loads of up to 50 kg. and are available in 25 standard sizes as well as customized sizes. The inside dimensions are approximately 30.mm more than the clearance dimensions, and further stability to dimensions is provided by the round and corner beads.
K470 provides an robust 1.5 mm sheet from base dimension of 750 x 550 mm. Also available as an option is a version with IP65 protection against water jets.

The ZENITH enclosure can take 19 plug-in units, shelves or 19 subracks. Due to the available heights up to 24 U it may also be used as a cabinet system.
A front and rear aluminium die cast frame together with a solid extruded aluminium profile build a solid construction. All unit parts are designed for easy handling with high flexibility. Side and cover panels are snapped into place by alternative connection technologies and may not be detached any more. An invisible passive ventilation system is laterally integrated.
Frames and cover panels are painted RAL 7035 (light grey), vertical extrusions and side panels RAL 7038 (agate grey). Of course, the enclosure may also be supplied in other colours on request.
When using closed rear panel and a door the ZENITH enclosure offers safe protection against all-side impacting splash water acc. to IP 42.
Enclosure will be supplied assembled.

The cabinet is also equipped with compartments which are separated by shelves. A cable inlet connects each of the compartments through a cable duct.

It protects flat screen monitors from splashes, washing, dust, temperature changes, cold, etc. The back as well as the sides of the body are single and in thermoplastic form. The front cover is thermoplastic PMMA, 6 mm thick, slides upwards on runners for access to the screen and is transparent. The body is made of a composite material and is 10 mm thick. This makes it water tight. It has protected ventilation grilles on both sides. It is easy to clean and the cabinet can be mounted in a wall. The screen mounting plate in within the cabinet.
