MicroTCA backplane connector - 14.5 A | MINIPAK HD series
The Minipak HD connector is a high-density, board-to-board connector designed to the PICMG MicroTCA.0 standard, which is ideal for hot swap applications, wireless base stations, CATV hardware and customer premise equipment. It is a two-piece connector made of high-quality materials with gold plating over nickel to provide reliability in demanding environments and also complies with RoHS regulations.The HD connector offers 72 high-density and 24 proven Universal Power Module (UPM) power contacts, with the capacity of carrying up to 14.5A current per contact when fully loaded. It offers three different mating sequence levels and hot-plug contact design controls the arc during hot mate/unmate cycles.
