The Generic radio adapter is made to attach to different radio models with a short cable connector. There is one version of the Generic radio adapter for each radio model/group of radio models.
The larger centre button is used to switch the radio adapter on. The up and down button is used to select the group number for team talk communication.
The extra connection on the top is of the type Binder and can be used to connect accessories, such as external PTT button and Lapel microphone/speaker. Depending on connected accessories the up and down button can be used to set the volume during use.
An attachment clip can be added to the backside of the Generic radio adapter. The attachment clip is ordered separately, see Accessories for item number.
