Coal drying ovens (CDLT & CDHT) were designed to perform tests according to American and British Standards. This series features two models CDLT (designed for BS1017 parts 1 and 2 and also ASTM D2013 and D3302 tests) and CDHT (for tests according to BS1016 parts 1 and 2 and also ASTM D2961). These units operate by using two centrifugal fans to circulate the air in a horizontal flow (using ducts and airguides) over each shelf level. The chamber itself features 6 pairs of shelf runners on 90 mm centers capable of supporting up to 12 aluminum tiles (supplied with the unit) that slide directly on the shelf runners. As the oven is capable of accommodating two shelves on each level it features a tray area of 4.32 square meters.
