The ARB-1410 is a PCI-bus based, highly precise (14-bit), high speed (100 MSample/sec), arbitrary waveform generator card. Using WaveGen1410 Software, it is capable of providing an extensive variety of simple or complex acoustic emission waveforms of all shapes and amplitudes up to +/- 150 Volts.

Options

The standard ARB-1410 generates a +/- 10 Volt signal output at frequencies up to 15 MHz. An optional on-board Medium Voltage, high bandwidth (MVHBW) output provides +/-35 Volts at frequencies up to 2 MHz, while the High Voltage (HV) option provides an output of +/-150 Volts at frequencies up to 700 kHz. These high voltage outputs are available directly on the board (no external high voltage amplifiers required) for connecting directly to the transmitting sensor without the need for extra hardware. In addition, a four (4) channel Output Multiplexer option allows the board to control up to 4 separate transmitting sensors for increased versatility.

The V285 is a single-width, C-size, register-based, VXIbus module that is a 16-bit, precision, arbitrary waveform generator. It includes a DAC per channel and is capable of update rates to 500 kHz per channel. Each analog channel includes a 4-pole, Bessel filter with programmable cutoff frequencies of 10 kHz and 100 kHz. A 16-bit ADC/multiplexer allows all channels to be automatically tested and calibrated.

The V285 arbitrary waveform generator optionally includes either a 1 MB or 4 MB RAM memory. This memory may be configured either for multibuffer operation, in which data is continuously updated via the VXIbus, or it may be preloaded with waveforms. These waveforms may be continuously output (in recirculate mode) or output once per trigger (in one-shot mode).

The P635 is a single-width, 3U, PXI module with eight frequency measurement channels. This counter module can be used to monitor a variety of pulse sources. Moreover, its unique circuitry allows the monitoring of a wide range of frequencies without changing any module settings. TTL inputs are provided as well as differential input circuits with filtering and hysteresis to provide high noise immunity. The switching threshold is programmable, and the input voltage should be at least twice the threshold voltage for noise immunity. AC or DC coupling of the differential inputs is programmable on a per-channel basis
