Self-locking nut

Jergens Spinner-Grip flange lock nuts have set new standards in locking nuts. They allow a free-spinning installation, which removes any need for wrenching the nut into the thread.

The nuts have Grade 8 strength and quality, but support all grades of fasteners. The threads or plating on fasteners is not damaged at all. It enables locking to the parts and not the threads, which results in a top performance in high vibration applications.

When compared to nylon insert locknuts, the Spinner-Grip flange lock nuts provide a larger range of temperature. They have a hardness of 28 - 38 HRc, which makes them more effective under vibration for handling clamp load. Unlike a majority of other torque lock nuts, Spinner-Grip is not restricted to 5 reuses.

Clamping nut - max. 100 Nm

The Clamping nut by KTR uses common dynamometric screwdrivers approximately 100 Nm. An example of which is the M42 thread.

This clamping nut can be quickly and easily assembled or disassembled even without any special tools. It is ideally suited for narrow assemblies such as gearbox housings. Since it is only loaded with torsion-less extension, it can handle the optimum load of screws. Additionally, it has screw property classes of 8.8 and 10.9.
