In general, all malleable materials can be thermal drilled. Standard drills are available in any size up to 25.4 mm. diameter. No special equipment is required. A standard drill press, milling machine or CNC machining center is suitable.

The CL500 are formed in a roll and can be injected with Compression Limiters to reduce the work costs. Meanwhile the CL610 and CL600 aluminium compression limiters are solid-walled and knurled. It can operate bolts with an ISO Class of 8.8 (metric).
