Overload clutch / security - max. 265 Nm | SYNTEX®-NC series
SYNTEX-NC is a safety clutch with zero backlash, low weight and mass moment of inertia. It is a compact clutch with a clamping ring design that is easy to assemble and large bore diameters. Its design is based on a positive locking ball-ratching principle to enable a short reaction time and high repeating accuracy. It is mainly used in modern machine tools, positioning and control technology and special machinery. It features a lightweight design, zero backlash torque transmission and shaft-hub connection, and declining spring characteristic. It has an overload protection of 280 Nm maximum. It has a high power density and is available in synchronous and ratchet design. It can be used together with the ROTEX GS or the RADEX-NC, both of which have no backlash. It has direct mounting and is equipped with integrated groove ball bearing.
