Ball bearing / long-life
NSK durable bearings are designed with strengthened rolling element (Ball) to prevent surface flaking. The bearing life exceeds at least 3 times more in comparison with usual technology for the inner bearing and outer rings. It also features its 10 times more bearing life when used in combination with NSKs proprietary long-life ring heat-treatment technology (UR,HTF). The bearings are made with special carbonitriding heat-treatment technology together with deposit of hard, minute particles of Si-nitride on the ball. The bearings with prolonged service life make the bearing size to go down which enables it to reduce weight of about 50 percent which in turn yields into a 12 percent lowering of torque.
