SB Style Ceramic Hybrid Insert Bearings will come with an inner ring. This ring is able to extend on one side of the bearing and thus provide extra shaft support. The device has steel races along with ceramic balls. The silicon nitride (Si3N4) ceramic balls are suited ideally for applications that have requirements for high loads, high speeds and extreme temperature . The device has longevity and requires very little lubrication and this makes it perfect for heavy duty applications. SB Style Ceramic Hybrid Insert Bearings balls are harder than even steel. Ceramic balls are almost frictionless as they happen to be non-porous. These balls also spin faster than steel balls. Silicon Nitirde is non-porous and non-magentic. It is also non corrosive and is lighter than steel.
