Hybrid ball bearings offer enormous advantages compared to pure steel / steel bearings with regard to speed, load capacity, rigidity and service life. The ball bearings have rings of steel and the ball are made of ceramic. The material predominantly consists of silicon nitride Si3N4.Numerous trials and successful use in the field confirm the advantages of hybrid ball bearings.
All ball bearings of the GMN production range are available as hybrid bearings.
