5-axis machining center, Licon offers one of the largest twin-spindle machines available on the market. Here two machines work in tandem the perfect solution for all your machining requirements. It is suitable for large, cubic parts with a maximum load of up to 1,800 kg on the A axis bridge. This machine is used in the more diverse areas, such as the automotive, energy or aerospace industries.
Displacement cylinders of 990 mm x 1,000 mm and machining strokes of 1,000 x 700 x 800 mm in the X-, Y- and Z-axis, ensure that there is sufficient space for movement and thereby makes the machining of the largest workpieces within a single clamping possible. Up to 900 kg can be loaded per pallet. A unique feature is that the spindles can be corrected in all three axes separately. The extreme rigidity of all three axes, in particular the Z-axis, is impressive in comparison to quill spindles, which thereby guarantees that the best qualities for machining are achieved.
All the essential components of this machine were developed in-house by Licon and have been used successfully for years.
