Schunk has introduced a robotic tool changing system that has got a center bore with it. This system is best to be used with robotic applications and it requires the charging units to have a center bore. It is featured with various electric options, alternative feed throughs of energy and integrated air - feed throughs which make the mediums, signals and required energy to get transmitted in a reliable manner. It also has got a locking system that is self-retaining for making the effector and robot stay together when there occurs a power outage. It can be attached with adapter plates with the mounting pattern from ISO for making the process of assembly much easier. It is also equipped with a storage rack for the tools that are not in use. It is available in different versions.
