This tapping head 12/1 Garant model is designed for automatic return with its built-in reversing gears. Upon reaching the thread depth, the unit raises the spindle of the machine for automatic reversal. The design features an accelerated return, anti-rotation arm, fast-change collet system, etc.
The unit is applicable for both left- and right-hand threads. Additional applications include tap-through holes with collet numbers 335420-5430, which are optionally available without safety clutches. It is also ideal for blind holes with collet numbers 335610-5620, which optionally come with safety clutches. Advantages include little to no maintenance and length compensation located on the tension.
