Cleaning roller brush / for conveyors
The standard brushing unit with rod regulation UST type is utilized for large belts in specific working conditions, such as the conveying of doughy and wet material and slugs. It has a standard diameter of 300 mm but 270 to 250 mm diameters can be supplied if required.
Frequent maintenance is necessary for conveyor belts because of the build-up of residues and slugs on the pulleys and on the rollers' return, which, if they are not removed after unloading, can damage and wear and tear to the belts. The brushing units for conveyor belts have been designed and manufactured by S.I.T. for complete cleaning of the belt and to prevent clogging which can occur when using the common variety of cleaner. They comprise a special cylindrical shaped brush with helical segments and engine on a modular frame.
