Metal Work provides tapered thread (polytetrafluorethylene-coated) fittings with a pneumatic seal between the fitting and the female thread. Because of this, there is no need to add any additional sealing systems when assembling (e.g. adhesives, Teflon tape), significantly reducing the time it takes to assemble.
Over time properties can be maintained because of the physical/technical features under a wide range of temperatures.
The coating is approved for use with Metal Work 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch gas taper thread products especially in push-in fittings type R1C, R31C, R32C and R39C series, fittings types A2, A4, A5, A10, A12, A13, A15, A16, A17, A18, the A25 series B bicone fittings and types B1, B5, B7 and B8 series C push-in fittings, types C1, C5, C7, C8.
