The specially designed magnetic liquid filters or magnetic liquid traps used for liquid or semi-liquid flow systems, effectively removes ferrous contamination from liquids of various viscosity level. Even the minutest contaminant is removed for highest product purity. The liquid lines and processing equipment receive magnetic protection. The filters are available in various styles for different materials with up to 12,000GS magnetic strength for N style and 8000Gs for E style. They operate at ?80? with max selectable temperature from 80? to 350? and various operating pressures during need. The shell material is of stainless-steel and the connections are of ferrule, bolt plate, flange or uneven head, etc. A well designed magnetic configuration guarantees maximum magnetic effect without suppressing the liquid flow. The filters can be custom made with various pressure design and special specifications as per need.

This high intensity magnetic filter from Eriez is used to capture fine ferrous and paramagnetic particles in liquids and slurries. It has its own electro-magnetic coil design and contains background fields of 2500, 5000, and 10000 Gauss. The unit directs the magnetic field into a central core to create a magnetically susceptible matrix which enhances the background fields. It is also designed with a full magnetic system to prevent external contamination. The feed velocity can be adjusted in order to assure maximum residence time in magnetic zone. Furthermore, self-clean models for continuous operation without any need for supervision is also available.

The Micromag Magnetic Filter is designed to eradicate ferrous and para-magnetic contamination found it coolants, lubricants, cleaners and other fluids used in industrial applications. Characterized by its cost effective properties, this device allows no fluid to loss and no soil soaked cartridges to be rid of. Contamination is extracted as semi-dry cake that can be sold as scrap. Any particle that is magnetic is detected by the Micromag and removed efficiently. Pressure drop does not occur even when the area to be filtered is full of contamination. This magnetic filter is also able to eliminates materials that are abrasive in nature, even non-magnetic particles are removed through the process of heterocoagulation.

These include: highly efficient sub-micron filtration of all magnetic particles as well as abrasives and non-magnetic substances (via heterocoagulation), zero-pressure drop, low cost operation (as they feature power and consumable free operation), zero fluid loss (as there are no oil sodden cartridges to dispose of, improving fluid life), no need for specialized disposal (contaminants are removed as semi-dry cake) and zero maintenance operation that only requires occasional cleaning by the operator. Additionally, as the removed contaminant material can be easily recycled, this model features zero environmental impact.
